THE
Government will fund a new library at Salt Ash Public School as
part of its commitment to providing noise attenuation works at
the school near RAAF Base Williamtown.
Defence Minister Robert Hill said the library works would add
to the already considerable commitment of more than $2 million
over the current financial year being spent on environmental works
in the RAAF Williamtown and Salt Ash Air Weapons Range area.
Other works under way in the area include initiating noise monitoring
and increasing security at the range.
