THE first batch in a series of procedures has been produced in
an effort to improve delivery of military personnel services to
ADF members.
The Directorate of Integrated People Solutions has produced the
first standard operating procedures aimed at providing a nationally-consistent
approach for military personnel administration.
A key objective in their production has been to reduce duplication
of function between the roles performed within the Customer Service
Centres and the Military Personnel Administration Centres.
The former has an advisory role and the latter a processing function,
which has sometimes overlapped.
The changes are being made as a result of the CSIG Business Improvement
Review Project.
