Central Band
December 4: The Ceremonial Band will support the No. 21 Squadron annual parade at the Laverton Parade Ground, RAAF Base Williams, at 5pm.
December 5: The Concert Band will provide music for the Carols and Lessons at the RAAF Chapel, RAAF Base Williams, Point Cook, at 7pm.
December 6: The Concert Band will present a concert for the Legacy War Widows, Melbourne Town Hall, Swanston Street, Melbourne from noon to 2.30pm.
December 8: The Ceremonial Band will support the 20/04 No. 1 Recruit Training Unit graduation parade at RAAF Base Edinburgh at 9am.
December 10: The Ceremonial Band will support the No. 200 RAAF Advanced Pilots Course at RAAF Base Pearce at 1.30pm.
December 11: Air Power Brass will perform at the Salvation Army Christmas Concert, Boxhill Salvation Army, Nelson Road, Boxhill, Victoria, at 7.30pm.
December 12: The Concert Band will feature at the Moreland City Council’s Carols by Candlelight, Coburg Lake Reserve, Lake Grove, Coburg, Victoria from 6.30-9.30pm.

A reunion of Air Force UBON personnel will be held in Adelaide from April 22-26, 2005.

Former Corporal Stuart Colbeck is keen to hear from members who completed the RAAFPOL course 3/89 or were posted to Darwin with him.

Technical news

The latest edition of the Dairmaint News, a newsletter published by the Directorate of Aircraft Maintenance, is available http://sorweb.sor.defence.gov.au/dgta/.

The newsletter has an aircraft maintenance and engineering management focus and is aimed at technical personnel.

 
ALSFITT reunion
An ALSFITT reunion will be held in Townsville on February 5, 2005, from 10am.

Anyone interested in attending should email the ALSFITT webmaster at alsfitt@yahoo.com so that bar snacks can be arranged.
 
Edinburgh treat
RAAF Base Edinburgh’s annual fundraising Children’s Christmas Treat will be on December 3 from 11am to 3pm.

Attractions on the day include pony and train rides, clowns, face painting, RAAF Central Band and Santa.

Tickets are limited, costing $10 a child. Contact Corporal Emma Kay on (08) 8393 3228.
