Electronic pay advice roll out

ELECTRONIC pay advice for ADF members is being rolled out across the country over the next few months. This follows more than 2500 members trialling the system using PMKeyS Self Service in August and September.

A staggered rollout of access to PMKeyS Self Service has started as follows:

  • September 27 – Victoria and Tasmania
  • October 11 – metropolitan NSW and overseas (longterm posting)
  • October 25 – remaining NSW locations
  • November 8 – Northern Territory and South Australia
  • November 22 – south Queensland and Western Australia
  • December 6 – north Queensland and overseas deployments.

On the dates indicated, the new menu item will be activated and information and instructions on accessing the pay advice will be forwarded to individual members who have a DRN account and their work email address recorded on PMKeyS.

All ADF members with a DRN account should have access to the service by Christmas. “Overwhelmingly” positive comments on the content, style, ease of use and availability of the pay advice were received during the trial.

Working parties are being set up to look at the need to provide members, in particular deployed and isolated ADF members, with improved access to PMKeyS.

The intention is to phase out paper pay advice once all access and administrative requirements have been met.
