NO.
44 Wing Detachment has been given an insight into the future direction
of the Surveillance and Response Group during a visit from Commander
SRG Air Commodore Graham Bentley.
AIRCDRE Bentley discussed career development, tactical air traffic control, the progression of ATC capability with new technology,
operations and exercises with members of the section.
AIRCDRE Bentley also presented Flight Lieutenant Peter Cain and
Flying Officer Nathan Hill with the Australian Active Service
Medal in recognition of their duties as part of Operation Catalyst.
The visit was part of a tour of all units in the newest Force
Element Group.
