Nursing Forum
DDFN will host the third annual Nursing Officer Forum in Canberra from November 10 -12.

The forum theme is “The future belongs to collaborative practices”.

Banner presentation
Officers’ Training School will be presented with a Governor- General’s Banner on October 27. Former OTS staff members interested in attending the Banner presentation and consecration parade at RAAF Williams, Point Cook Base are requested to contact the RAAF Williams VP-Coord Ms Lauren Pettis on (03) 9256 2272.

Unit crests
Ex-Corporal Marianne Plumridge-Eggleton is compiling an Air Force photo album and scrapbooks of squadron patches and crests.

She is after people to sell or trade the following missing patches or crests from the units she served with: Base Squadron Williamtown, 20CU, Australian Joint Warfare Establishment, Base Squadron Darwin and Base Squadron Wagga Wagga.

Farewell lunch
A farewell luncheon to farewell Group Captain Greg Weekes will be held at the Australian Defence College, Weston Creek on December 14, 2004. GPCAPT Weekes is retiring in early 2005 after 37 years of distinguished service.
