THE
MILITARY Periscope information service is now available to Defence
personnel. Corporate Services & Infrastructure Group signed a
contract to make it available via the Defence Library Service
Intranet site on Defweb.
Periscope provides open-source information across a wide range
of defence and military-related topics.
It is updated daily to include news from major international newspapers
and news wires, special reports on hot issues, details of US Defense
contracts, a database of peacekeeping and terrorist groups and
“Order of Battle” information detailing the structure, equipment,
deployment, plans and programs of world military forces.
