Commission chances

APPLICATIONS have been called for airmen and airwomen seeking a commission across 16 specialisations in 2005-06.

The musterings in which commissions are available are:

• administration (4),
  
• administration band (1),
  
• aeronautical engineer (1),
  
• airborne electronics (1),
  
• air defence (3),
  
• air traffic control (5),
  
• armament engineer (1),
  
• education (1),
  
• electronics engineer (5),
  
• environmental health (1),
  
• ground defence (1),
  
• intelligence (3),
  
• logistics (3),
  
• navigator (1),
  
• pilot (5) and
  
• security police (2).

  Personnel also have the opportunity to apply for the Airman/Airwoman Access to the Academy Scheme in eight specialisations in 2006.

  These are:

• air defence (1),
  
• air traffic control (2),
  
• electronics engineer (10),
