How network can be of help

A PMKeyS Personnel Ad- ministration and Leave Module Administrator (MA) network was established for Air Force in July.

MAs are available to assist members with specific PMKeyS issues that the PMKeyS Help Desk does not normally deal with.

They are located at each of the major Air Force bases and establishments around Australia and at Butterworth. DMA-AF staff have provided appropriate training to those selected as MAs.

What MAs do:

  • Act as the go-between and disseminate PMKeyS-related information among DMA-AF, transactors and managers.
  • Provide subject matter expert or specialist technical advice on matters that the PMKeyS Help Desk might not be able to answer.
  • Provide ad hoc training to new users who are required to achieve a minimal level of competency before gaining access to the PMKeyS application.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting requirements that middle level management may have.
  • Compile and report instances where deficiencies in the PMKeyS application may require modification or improvement.

What MAs don’t do:

  • They do not replace the PMKeyS Help Desk. They assist with issues that the Help Desk does not normally support, such as the more specific subject matter expert or technical aspects of the PMKeyS application.
  • MAs don’t do data corrections. The PMKeyS Help Desk is still the first “port of call” for this.
