members serving in Iraq and the Middle East have received their
own Olympic Herogram from the Australian Olympic men’s and women’s
basketball teams.
The video message arrived in Baghdad just before the Games opening
ceremony. It was forwarded to all Australian detachments in the
MEAO.
The Commander of Australian Forces in the Middle East, Brigadier
Peter Hutchinson, said it was always great to receive messages
of support.
