FORCE remains kings and queens of running and gunning on skis after
beating Army and Navy in the National Interservice Nordic and Biathlon
Ski Championships at Mt Hotham, Victoria. The team won all but one
of the 10 events (the men’s relay).

FORCE’S snowboarding team has relinquished its stranglehold as ADF
snowboard champions to Army after holding the title since the competition
started in 1997. Air Force also couldn’t beat the dominating Navy
in the ski events this year.

A novel twist to this year’s RAAF Alpine Sports Association Championships

of those who were fighting a battle of a different kind on Exercise

Force basketballers stood up to the challenge of their coach and
won the ACT interservice basketball tournament 71- 64 against Navy
this month.

Defence contingent of runners who joined the City to Surf fun run
on August 8.

the road in New Zealand
THE
ADF Running and Athletics Association is sending a team of 21 runners
to New Zealand to compete in the 62.7km Road Relay Championships
on October 2.
