Volleyball

Lawn Bowls

Netball
The 2004 ACT/Wagga inter-Service netball competition will be held from August 20 at ADFA, ACT. Personnel interested in participating as players, coaches or referees should contact Flight Lieutenant Kate Dixon on (02) 6122 4043, or email kdixon@dfr.com.au. All players, coaches and support staff competing may win selection in the ACT combined Services team competing at the ADF nationals from October 17-23.

Golf
ADF personnel are invited to play in the ADF Golf Association/ Gungahlin Lakes Charity Golf Day for ACT Legacy on September 3. The event comprises a single Stableford competition with A,B,C, women’s, social and Callaway handicap divisions. $15 for course members and $27.50 for non-members. The ADF national golf championships will be held in the ACT from December 6-10.

Soccer

The WA interservice championships will be held at RAAF Base Pearce on September 22.

Rugby League
RAN Rugby League is looking for players for the World Masters Games from November 6-13 on the Gold Coast. There will be two sides entered in a nine-a-side team for 30-40 year-olds and a team in the over 35s in the 13-a-side format with a social competitive level. Cricket
The ADF national cricket carnival will be held in Brisbane from November 14-17. Selections for the Australian Services Cricket Association (ASCA) squad to tour the UK in July 2005 will take place. The selected ASCA team will play the Queensland Bulls’ under-19 team at Alan Border Field on November 18-19.

Softball
The ADF Softball Association national championships will be held from November 15-19 in Richmond, NSW. ADF members selected for the team will also compete in the 2005 Arafura Games.
