AIR
Force soccer players took to the field in Sydney with mixed results
at the NSW interservice soccer championships. In the face of tough
competition at the championships, the Air Force women’s team finished second after a promising start, while the men lost last year’s
crown and were pushed to third in the tournament held from July
27-29.

Net
loss but not for long

Air
Force second in scenic contest
AS
HOSTS of the WA interservice cross-country titles, Air Force was
able to select the 10km course. Whether this gave it an advantage
is a debatable point, though Air Force did improve its showing from
previous events to finish second overall behind defending champions
Navy, who have won the event every year since 1989.
