It’s 10 years since the ADF deployed personnel as part of the UN Assistance Mission in Rwanda. The stories of some Air Force personnel in the second contigent are recalled here – the tough emotional and physical conditions and horrors they confronted in a country ravaged by genocide, and the strength they found in each other.
