THE Anzac Exchange has provided me with an opportunity to view the logistics function of the RNZAF, specifically the purchasing processes.

I have witnessed the electronic purchase of non-aeronautical items, including uniforms, stationery items and general goods.

I have also been exposed to air movement and motor transport operations, forward support section (supporting operational squadrons) and base support functions.

All of this has been achieved in such a short space of time. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the Anzac Exchange. It has provided a great opportunity to gain exposure to and experience another culture, showing many similarities but also acknowledging the differences between Australia and New Zealand.
