Sporting auction

AN auction of sporting memorabilia and other items at the RAAF Base Glenbrook’s airmen’s mess has been postponed until August 20. The auction has been organised by LAC Bradley King, whose son was stillborn. All proceeds will go to SIDS and Kids. Air Command Band

August 12: The Chamber Musicians will perform at St Matthew’s, South Windsor, between 11am-noon. The concert will feature woodwind groups such as the Woodwind Quintet. August 15: The Big Band will play at RAAF Base Tindal’s Open Day. August 18: The Parade Band will attend the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Day at 11am, Martin Place, Sydney. August 25: The Concert Band will perform a public concert at St Andrew’s Cathedral, George Street, Sydney, between 12.30-13.30hrs. August 27: The Brass Quintet will perform at the Mosman Arts Centre, corner of Short and Myahgah Road, at 8pm as part of the Mosman Orchestra Chamber Concert night. RAAF Central Band

August 12: The Williams Clarinet Quartet will perform at the SDE Symposium Dinner at RAAF Base Williams, Laverton from 6-10pm. August 15: Force 10 will entertain at Federation Square, Melbourne, at noon; The Williams Clarinet Quartet will play at the 2ATC course graduation ceremony at RAAF Base East Sale at 6.30pm.
