Health study for Defence
A
NEW education program about public health is being offered specifically
for Defence personnel.
The Masters of Public Health (Defence) is the first educational
offering from the Centre for Military and Veterans’ Health.
The centre’s professional development officer, Lieutenant Commander
Nigel Carlton, said the program was designed to provide development
opportunities for a range of medical and allied health personnel,
including medical professionals, scientific officers and laboratory
assistants, environment health officers, preventative medicine
personnel, health administration officers, medical assistants
and other personnel with a public health interest.
Personnel need to apply for financial assistance before September
for study in 2005. Phone (07) 3346 4860 or email n.carlton@uq.edu.au
