Aces North was the final stage of tactics training for the No. 28 Fighter Combat Instructors and No. 6 Fighter Combat Controllers courses. Sixty aircraft and more than 1000 personnel were involved in the exercise, held at RAAF Bases Tindal and Darwin from May 24 to June 18.

 

Now, where did I park? Space was at a premium at RAAF Base Townsville’s flightline during a stopover en route to RAAF Base Williamtown from the Top End.
