THE
ADF Netball Association’s women’s team will be out to bring home
the Anzac Cup to Australian soil when it tours New Zealand in
July.
The ANZAC Cup Challenge, will take place from July 10-18 following
the team’s training camp in Sydney from July 6-9. The competition
began in 1995.
During the first few years, the Cup was successfully retained
in Australia, however it has been held by New Zeland since 2003
when the team played in Australia and went home undefeated.
The team includes two Air Force personnel – Corporal Ngari Cannons,
of No. 92 Wing AVCIS at RAAF Edinburgh, and Flight Lieutenant
Kate Dixon, of Headquarters Defence Force Recruiting in Canberra.
