Invitation to join Society

AIR Force members are invited to join the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS), which was founded in 1866 and has been at the forefront of developments in the aviation and aerospace field ever since.

The Society’s purpose is to advance the knowledge and practice of aeronautics. It caters for all people involved in aerospace – pilots, engineers, doctors, lawyers, air traffic controllers and maintenance staff.

In April 2002, in recognition of the support provided to the Australian Division of the RAeS, the Air Force was invited to join the RAeS Associated Company Scheme (now Corporate Partner Scheme).

With the RAAF being a member of the CPS, Air Force members can join the Society without paying a joining fee. Membership is open to any person regardless of rank and there are “short forms” for membership application for some officer ranks.

Visit www.raes.org.au for more information.
