Rugby Union call

AIR Force Rugby Union (AFRU) is calling for nominations from Air Force personnel across the ADF to attend its inter-service rugby selection camp at Defence Establishment Orchard Hills from April 30 to May 8.

Players selected for the Air Force rugby team will remain in camp for the Australian Services Rugby Championships from May 9-16.

Personnel planning to attend the selection camp are to contact AFRU Rugby Operations Manager Squadron Leader Tim Anderson on tim.anderson@defence.gov.au or (02) 6265 5532.

All players are to ensure that they obtain approval from their unit chain of command before contacting the AFRU.

Units will only be requested to pay the incidental component of travelling allowance. Travel and other costs will be managed on an individual basis by the AFRU.
