Views on plan valued

FEEDBACK is sought on the Air Force Plan.

The plan is CAF Air Marshal Angus Houston’s strategic level direction that outlines how the Air Force will meet the objectives set for it by the government, CDF and the Secretary of Defence.

The plan describes what we have to produce, how we are going to produce it, and how we are going to look after our people in doing this.

The next version of the plan (Air Force Plan 5.0) will be finalised by CAF and senior Air Force officers at the Air Force Plan Conference on May 21.

In the lead up to the conference, AIRMSHL Houston is seeking feedback from all Air Force members on the current plan (Air Force Plan 4.0).

Views are sought on: what needs to be in the plan, what should be excluded from the plan, do people link work activities to objectives in the plan, and how could the plan be improved?

Feedback will be posted on the RAAFWeb. Follow the Air Force Plan Feedback link on http://intranet.defence.gov.au/raafweb on the Defence intranet.

Feedback can also be provided by sending an email to airforce.plan@defence.gov.au.

The current plan can be found under the Air Force Plan link at http://intranet.defence.gov.au/raafweb/sites/Pubs/ on the Defence intranet.
