Conference on military medicine

SENIOR military medical personnel from 25 countries will exchange ideas at the 14th Asia-Pacific Military Medicine Conference to be held in Brisbane from May 10-14.

The conference theme is “Professional Mastery in Military Health” and it will be co-hosted by the ADF and the United States Army in the Pacific (USARPAC). The organising committee is inviting a wide range of participants from all military health disciplines and ranks.

However, because there is no registration fee, only a limited number of places will be available for Australian delegates.

Priority will be given to personnel who have registered early or who have submitted papers for presentation at the conference.

The inaugural Regional Military Health Interoperability Forum will precede the conference. It is open to invited participants only.

For more information contact Flight Lieutenant Tracey Elliott, of DHSB, on (02) 6266 4473 or visit the web site www.apmmc.org.
