Club into championship swing

RAAF Richmond Golf Club has held its inaugural championships, creating an event that has set a precedent for coming years.

The 36-hole stroke event was well supported with nearly 50 competitors attending each day.

The winners were Overall Club Champion Corporal Keith Wheeler and 162 overall net Anthony Ogle. The A-grade 36-hole winner was Ross McDonald and the B-grade 36-hole winner was Rob Hearnes.

The RAAF Richmond Golf Club committee greatly appreciated the generosity of its sponsors.
