Roulettes’ Flight Lieutenants Mark Broadbridge and Chris Tulk present a coffee machine, cups and a cheque to Royal Adelaide Hospital Burns Unit staff Wendy Jackson, Stuart Harper, Sheila Kavanagh and Jill Clausen.
THE Roulettes have presented a coffee machine to Royal Adelaide Hospital Burns Unit.

Their affiliation with the unit started earlier this year with the launch of the Julian Burton Burns Trust at RAAF Base Edinburgh. On the day, Julian Burton, a Bali bombing victim, and John Greenwood, the head of the burns unit, went flying with the team.

The Roulettes also participated in fund raising for the new burns unit during the Clipsal 500 race meeting weekend.
After seeing the great work the Julian Burton Burns Trust was doing, the Roulettes decided to help. Mr Greenwood suggested a coffee machine to make patients and their family’s time a bit more comfortable during their stays.

The Roulettes approached Rio Coffee, the supplier of Saeco coffee machines in Adelaide, to donate a fully automatic deluxe coffee machine, worth $1300, to the burns unit. The Roulettes donated cups and money for the purchase of coffee and other supplies.
