Sergeant Azmain (RBAF), Flight Lieutenant Roland Morscheck, Captain Sharif (RBAF) and Warrant Officer Wayne Silverman after an aircraft familiarisation sortie in a CN-235.

AN ADF team of six has visited Brunei to provide external checking and standardisation of operations, pilots and loadmasters of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAF).

Headed by Lieutenant Colonel Greg Rutter from HQ 16 Brigade (Aviation) Standards Branch, the team included Flight Lieutenant Roland “Arnie” Morscheck from Central Flying School and Warrant Officer Wayne Silverman from No. 285 Squadron.

FLTLT Morscheck flew in the PC7 Mk11 trainer and the CN-235 aircraft. He performed Qualified Flying Instructor categorisations on the RBAF PC7 pilots and also provided operational advice on the CN-235 operations.

WOFF Silverman flew in the CN-235 and provided valuable advice on many aspects of passenger and cargo handling in the aircraft.

The visit followed a request from the RBAF and it is hoped that it will become an annual event.
