AN
Air Force member who has soared to great heights will receive
the 2003 Rolls-Royce Eagle Trophy.
The highly regarded award has been handed out since 1996 to any
sergeant through to flight lieutenant in any aircraft technical/engineering
specialisation for outstanding achievements in that field, coupled
with superior personal qualities and Service attitude.
Nominations are currently being sought and close on October 31.
CAF Air Marshal Angus Houston will announce the winner in early
November, with the award to be presented at a dinner in Canberra
on November 25.
Nominations, staffed through command headquarters or divisions
are sought in the form of a suitable citation and description
of the outstanding achievements, supported by personal detail
of the nominee.
The period of nomination is the year preceding the award.
Nominations should be forwarded to CECSUP1, R1-6-C040, Russell
Offices.
