Wedding feast just delicious

Oliver’s Twist: Wedding
ABC, Wednesday, September 3, 8pm.
Reviewer: Cpl Alisha Welch

Once Jamie Oliver starts cooking, it’s a struggle to look away from the telly.

In this episode we follow Jamie on his moped through the streets of London as he shops for organic vegies and other delicious treats in bustling eclectic markets, before being whisked back to the kitchen where the magic begins.

Jamie’s kitchen is super cool in itself – I especially love the retro fridge and the way the entire bench acts as a chopping board.

Jamie’s friend is getting married and snappy camera work follows Jamie around the kitchen as he shows her how to prepare scrumptious food for the big day – salmon, figs and one heck of a berry dessert.

It helps to have an interest in cooking, or food, to appreciate this show, but Jamie alone is entertaining enough.

The plus about Oliver’s Twist is that we actually get the pleasure of watching Jamie create extraordinary dishes that make your mouth water. In a word – delicious!

Just so viewers aren’t confused, don’t mix up this series with Oliver’s Twist Two screening on Network Ten weeknights at 7 o’clock.
