Golf

The Central Region Military Golf Championships will be conducted from July 13-15 at the Vines Golf Club, Reynella over 72 holes. Entry fee is $45, which includes all green fees and presentations. Hockey

The 9th Australian Masters Games is to be held in Canberra from October 31- November 9, with the ADF Hockey Association entering teams again this year. The major requirement is to be 30 years of age at December 31, 2003. Information is available from the web site at www.amg2003.com. Lawn Bowls

The 2003 ACT/SNSW Inter-Service Lawn Bowls competition will be held on August 21-22 at West Deakin Hellenic Bowling Club, Kent St, Deakin, ACT. The competition is being managed by the ACT Defence Lawn Bowls Group. RAAF Rugby League

CAF has recently agreed to the establishment of RAAF Rugby League (RAAFRL) as an Air Force sports association. Air Force will host the 2004 interservice carnival at Williamtown and CAF has set RAAFRL the task of winning. Skiing

The 2003 RAAF and National Inter-Service Cross-Country/Biathlon Skiing Championships will be held at Mt Hotham from August 3-15, catering for all levels from beginner to advanced. Touch Football

The 2003 Canberra Defence Force Touch Association Interservice Competition will be held on August 15 at HMAS Harman. This competition is open to Canberra-based Defence members, (including ADFA), Reservists and Defence Public Servants.
