Basketball
HMAS Kuttabul will conduct the annual Oberon Shield Basketball
Competition on July 16 at Auburn Basketball Centre, Wyatt Park,
Church St, Lidcombe. The event is open to all ADF personnel, ADF
Reserves and Commonwealth employees. The competition will provide
personnel the opportunity for possible selection into the national

Golf
The Central Region Military Golf Championships will be conducted
from July 13-15 at the Vines Golf Club, Reynella over 72 holes.
Entry fee is $45, which includes all green fees and presentations.

Lawn Bowls
The 2003 NSW Inter-Service Lawn Bowls competition will be conducted
at Beresfield Bowling Club (Newcastle), from August 12-14 inclusive.
A message with further details and requests for nominations will
be released in June. Also the national competition is planned
for September 1-5 at Ferny Grove Bowling Club (Brisbane). Any

Skiing
The RAAF Alpine Sports Association Championships for 2003 are
due to be held at Mt Hotham from August 2-10, catering for all
levels of downhill skiers and snowboarders. Enquiries to SQNLDR

The 2003 RAAF and National Inter-Service Cross-Country/Biathlon
Skiing Championships will be held at Mt Hotham, Victoria during
the period August 3-15, catering for all levels from beginner

Soccer
The NSW/ACT Inter-Service Soccer Carnival will be held at RAAF
Richmond from July 9-11. Air Force point of contact is Scott Keegan

Squash
The 2003 DefCredit ADF Squash Nationals will be held at RAAF Williamtown
from July 24-28. All full-time and Reserve personnel of all standards
are invited to attend the graded competition (so you dont
have to be an expert to have a go). The event will also help select
a team for the 2004 New Zealand tour. Further information: Air

Touch Football
The 2003 Canberra Defence Force Touch Association Interservice
Competition will be held on August 15 at HMAS Harman. This competition
is open to Canberra based Defence members, (including ADFA), Reservists
and Defence Public Servants. The nominations for mens/womens
opens, 30s, 35/40+ are to be forwarded to the following POCs:
