THE
Air Force is reeling from two hefty losses against Navy and Army
at the Australian Service Rugby Union (ASRU) National Interservice
Carnival in Sydney.
In the opening match of the carnival against Navy on June 8, Air
Force led 10-7 for much of the first half, but was over-run in the
45-10 final scoreline.
Air Force then backed up against Army on June 11, losing 97-0, with
the Army team choosing not to convert its final four tries.
Air Force also had four players not released for the tournament,
while those that played tackled their hearts out and never gave
up, coming up with innovative ways to win possession from constant
kick-offs.
