Free flights
THE RAAF Williamtown Flying Club (RWFC) will hold Trial Instructional
Flights on July 26-27 in which 20 people will get their first
experience of flight for free. Contacts and more information is

Home schooling
A WEB site has been established for ADF families who home school
or are considering home schooling. An e-mail list enables people
to ask questions or share information on home schooling in different

Air Command Band
July 1: The Parade Band will perform at RAAF Richmond Parade from

Central Band
June 20: The Ceremonial Band will perform at the Welcome Home
Parade in Perth at noon for personnel who were deployed to the
Middle East.
June 22: The Jazz Ensemble will perform at the Gisborne Secondary
School Charity Concert, Uniting Church, 23 Brantome Street, Gisborne,
Victoria, at 2pm.
June 23: The Ceremonial Band will take part in an Honour Guard
for Thai ACM Wantana at Russell Offices, Canberra, at 9am.
June 25: The Ceremonial Band will play at the 1RTU Graduation
Parade, RAAF Base Edinburgh, at 9am.
June 27: The Ceremonial Band will play at the OTS Graduation,
RAAF Base Williams, Point Cook, at 11.30am.
June 27: The Jazz Ensemble will perform at the Winterfest Opening
Night Concert, Upper Yarra Arts Centre, Warburton, Victoria at
8pm.

Annual submissions
ARTICLES and images on the theme Through Struggle to the
Stars Celebrating 100 years of Powered Flight are
sought for the 2003 Air Force Annual. Material on operational
activities is also welcome. The deadline for submissions is June
