AIR Force has retained the winners’ plaque at the ACT/NSW Interservice Tenpin Bowling Championships held in Canberra on May 5.

Featuring a mixture of service and Australian Public Service players, six representatives of each service were selected for the state team, which will compete in the ADF National Championship scheduled for Sydney from June 23-27.

The top two uniformed bowlers from each service were automatically selected for the combined team, with the remainder being made up of APS players.

State representative Flight Sergeant Paul Logan was the highest scorer in uniform for Air Force with an average of 168 for the nine games played.

The combined state team, listed in order of merit, is: Mark Jordan, LS Mark Tapper, Richard Wdowik, AB Jason Storr, WO1 Tobi Tobias, Kevin Murphy, FSGT Paul Logan, Kim Elliott, Maria Haw, FSGT Corrina Logan, Jenni Rush, CAPT Toni Hogan; with reserves SQNLDR Dave Neville, WOCIS Harold O’Hare, CPO Jon Hartnett and Alison Causley.
