Leading Aircraftman Paul Knight, a cook with 381ECSS

The proof has been in the pudding for Leading Aircraftman Paul Knight, a cook with 381ECSS, as he looked back on his 100 days’ service cooking daily for more than 600 people.

Cooking in the mixed Australian and Canadian mess had been a great experience for him and four other Air Force cooks, part of a joint Australian, Canadian and Asian 15-person catering team.

Looking back on his first deployment he said a highlight was CAF‘s visit to his mess on the day he finished before returning to Australia.

“I heard he might be in country and was hoping he’d drop in for something to eat, and he did on my last working day so that was a pretty good way to finish off, the whole experience has been great.”
