RAAF
Base Williamtown has shown its support for the families of its members
deployed overseas on various operations with a pre-Easter sausage
sizzle.
The event was an opportunity for the families to get together and
share their experiences as well as make contact with the various
family support agencies.
Chief of Air Force Air Marshal Angus Houston and the Warrant Officer
of the Air Force, ex Williamtown WOFF Peter Hall, travelled from
Canberra with their wives to show their support for the families.
The bulk of the day was dedicated to fun, with egg and spoon races
and the very messy but ever popular egg catching competition.
The games were quickly forgotten, though, as wailing sirens and
flashing lights announced the arrival of the Easter Bunny in a fire
engine.
More Easter eggs were snapped up before the bunny had to hop off
to another engagement.
