AN
Air Force C-130 Hercules became the first Coalition fixed-wing aircraft
to conduct an aero-medical evacuation out of the newly opened Baghdad
International Airport.
The C-130 flew to Kuwait to collect a US medical team, comprising
a nurse and two medics, then picked up two wounded US soldiers from
Baghdad. The two patients were delivered to a US hospital in Kuwait.
