CAF Fellowship opportunities

Nominations have been called from officers and airmen of any specialisation or mustering interested in undertaking a 2004 Chief of Air Force Fellowship.

Postgraduate level study and research will be undertaken at the Aerospace Centre and University College, Australian Defence Force Academy.

Consideration will also be given to applicants who have demonstrated advanced understanding of aerospace power and wish to undertake an aerospace-related research project without the associated university study.

The focus of the Fellowships is that the research has to be relevant to Air Force activities and Defence aerospace power. There is a four-week introductory module on aerospace power which is compulsory for all Fellows.

Fellowships are open to all members of the Air Force from corporal to wing commander, Defence civilians and foreign military officers under sponsorship schemes.

Applications close on April 23.

More information can be found on the Aerospace Centre web site at www.defence.gov.au/aerospacecentre or by contacting Group Captain Ric Casagrande or Wing Commander Maxine Dahl on (02) 6287 6458/6256.
