ADF Tasar crews tested

THE Australian Defence Force entered 10 crews in the Australian National Tasar Dinghy Championships, held at Mordialloc Sailing Club in Melbourne earlier this year.

The ADF teams performed with merit, with three earning top ten places and two finishing in the top five.

The best team, Navy Captains Rick Longbottom and Paul Kinghorne, placed fourth, while Flight Lieutenant Nick Grey and Commander Martin Linsley finished fifth. In the interservice team racing championship, played out in blustery conditions, Navy’s dominance continued, with Army second and Air Force third.
