Athletics
The ADF Running and Athletics Association will conduct the 2003
State Teams Half Marathon Championship in conjunction with the
Canberra Half Marathon on Sunday, May 18. The event is open to
all permanent and reserve members. Entries for team selection
close May 8 and can be forwarded to FSGT Warren Matulick, at DPO-AF,
R8-7-014, Dept. of Defence, Canberra ACT 2600, along with contact
details and entry fee. Entry forms will be available from the
organisers of the Canberra Half Marathon through www.coolrunning.com.au/canberrahalf/

The ADF Running and Athletics Association's National Track and
Field Championships will be held on April 26-27 at Alexandra Park,
Albury, in conjunction with the Victorian Country Championships.
The event is open to all permanent and reserve personnel and Defence

The Lest We Forget Run will be held in Townsville on Sunday, April
27, at 9am. Designed to capture the Anzac spirit, the 8km run
will begin from Anzac Park on The Strand. Entry is $16. For details

Golf
The Central Region Military Golf Championships will be conducted
from July 13-15 at the Vines Golf Club, Reynella over 72 holes.
Entry fee is $45 which includes all green fees and presentations.

ADF Tenpin Bowling
The Australian Defence Force Tenpin Bowling Association will be
conducting its annual Nationals Tournament 23-27 Jun 03. It is
to be held in NSW this year. State reps are requested to organise
