ADF Sports Billboard

Athletics
THE ADF Running and Athletics Association’s National Track and Field Championships that were to be held on January 25-26 at Alexandra Park, Albury, have been postponed to a date to be advised. The event is open to all permanent and reserve personnel and Defence civilians in various age categories. Visit the ADFRAA web site at www.cool running.com.au/adf for details.

Bodybuilding
THE 6th annual ADF Natural Bodybuilding and Figure Titles will be held at HMAS Cerberus on June 23, featuring divisions for all ADF permanent and reserve personnel and Defence civilians. As an amateur event, beginners are encouraged to enter. Fishing
THE annual ADF Interservice Fishing Championships will be held from October 17-19 out of Darwin. Further details can be obtained from the web site www.fishingnt.com

Golf
THE Central Region Military Golf Championships will be conducted from July 13-15 at the Vines Golf Club, Reynella, over 72 holes. Entry fee is $45 which includes all green fees and presentations. Rugby League
WESTERN Australian rugby league club the Rockingham Raiders, which caters for U/7s to U/18s, women’s super tag, reserve and first grade sides, is looking for players for the 2003 season. Soccer
THE Australian Combined Services Soccer Association is calling for nominations for coaches, managers and trainers for the ADF men’s and women’s teams. These teams will be involved in the Arafura Games in Darwin from May 17-24 and a women’s tour of Singapore in June. Nominations from players for the 2003 NSW Corporate Games are also sought in the following teams: open men, open women and over-30 men. Tenpin Bowling
THE Australian Defence Force Tenpin Bowling Association will be conducting its annual Nationals Tournament from June 23-27. Touch Football
THE Canberra Defence Force Touch Association is calling for nominations for the 2003 competition, which runs from March to October, with games every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes at Duntroon Ovals.
