79SQN ball

Korean reunion
Veterans from any of the 22 countries who saw service in Korea between 1950 and 1956 are invited to a reunion in Brisbane on April 24-25. Activities include a reception on April 24, a prominent place in the Order of March on Anzac Day and a gathering on the Brisbane River at New Farm on April 25. Inquiries to the Returned Veterans of the Korean war Office on (07) 3221 0722 from Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm.

Air Command Band
March 31: A bugler will perform at the RAAF Association Memorial Service at the Cenotaph, Martin Place, Sydney, on March 31, at 11am.
April 3: The Woodwind Quintet and Clarinet Quartet will perform at St Andrew’s Public Chamber Music Concert, St Andrew’s Cathedral, Sydney, from noon-1pm. Inquiries to (02) 4587 1122 or aircommandband@defence.gov.au

Central Band
March 29: The Ceremonial Band and Concert Band will perform at the Twilight Spectacular, RAAF Base Williams, Point Cook, at 6pm.
March 31: The Ceremonial Band will perform at the RAAF Base Pearce 65th Anniversary Parade at 8.30am.
April 2: The Ceremonial Band will play at the 1RTU Graduation Parade, RAAF Base Edinburgh at 9am.
April 3: The Catalina Woodwind Quintet will play at the Castlemaine State Festival, Uniting Church, Castlemaine, at 6pm. Inquiries to (03) 5470 6823; the Williams Clarinet Quartet will perform at the Air Force Anniversary Cocktail Party, Officers’ Mess, RAAF Edinburgh, at 7pm.
April 4: Force 10 and Williams Clarinet Quartet will feature at the Williams Autumn Ball, Officers’ Mess, RAAF Base Williams, at 6pm.
April 6: Force 10 will play at the Castlemaine State Festival, Castlemaine Botanical Gardens, 1.15pm and 3pm.
