CAF Air Marshal Angus Houston congratulates CAF Fellows (back) Flight Lieutenant (now Squadron Leader) Rebecca Lewis, Corporal Mick Pender, Corporal (now Sergeant Kevin Barnes, (front) Lieutenant Colonel Suwandi Miharja and Squadron Leader Andrew Clark.
THREE Royal Australian Air Force members have completed CAF Fellowships after a year of intensive study of air power and academic subjects.

Newly promoted Squadron Leader Rebecca Lewis did research into operational law, recently promoted Sergeant Kevin Barnes examined retention issues and Corporal Mick Pender researched humane warfare.

They are all posted to areas that relate to their research and will be able to implement their findings in their work.

Joining them on the graduation day at ADFA last December were two other CAF Fellows – Lieutenant Colonel Suwandi Miharja from Indonesia and Squadron Leader Andrew Clark, of New Zealand.

While SQNDLDR Clark has returned home, LTCOL Miharja now works on the directing staff for the Australian Command and Staff Course at Weston Creek.

The CAF Fellowships are offered through the Aerospace Centre.
