Defence scholarships

CHILDREN of Defence employees are eligible to apply for Defence/AFS Scholarships in 2003.

Sons and daughters of Air Force, Army and Navy personnel and Department of Defence civilians can apply for the scholarships.

Children of Reserve members on full-time service are also eligible, and applicants must be in either Year 9, 10, 11 or 12 this year.

Expressions of interest for scholarships in 2003 are due by April 25.

The fully-paid scholarships are provided by Defence in partnership with AFS Intercultural Programs.

Last year’s scholarship winners travelled to Bolivia, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
