LEADING
Melbourne artist Tom Alberts will present a discussion on his portrait
of Chief of Defence Force General Peter Cosgrove at the Gold Treasury
Museum in Melbourne.
The discussion will be held at 11am on Friday, March 7, as part
of the exhibition Keeping the Peace: Stories of Australian Peacekeepers,
which runs until March 23. In 2001, Alberts was commissioned by
the Australian War Memorial in Canberra to paint the portrait of
GEN Cosgrove.
