News at a finger click

A NEW online service brings together breaking news articles relevant to the Air Force.

Defence News Online daily scans more than 8000 major national and international newspapers, Defence and business publications from more than 118 different countries and 120 continuously updated newswires for news on a range of subjects of relevance to Defence.

Of particular interest is the Air Force section that scans and filters the major news sources and delivers up-to-date full-text news articles.

This service provides critical information tailored to assist Defence personnel to stay informed about issues which might impact on capability.

Defence News Online sorts all the latest news into topics, called “tracks”. Users can select the topic they are interested in and quickly skim the headlines of the day. Or they can choose to view any of these articles in full.

Defence News Online is an initiative of Defence Library Service, which has been working in partnership with Public Affairs and Corporate Communication.
