Celebrate our proud heritage

Entries are open for the 2003 RAAF Annual Heritage Awards.

The Air Force instituted the awards in 1987 to foster and encourage interest in its heritage. Awards are given in three categories: art, literature and photography. First prizes range from $5000 in the literature category to $1500 in the photographic section.

Entries must relate to a RAAF unit, aircraft, person, event or era, which gives a broad scope for subject matter.

Entries depicting recent events would be welcome.

The closing date for entries is April 29. Winners will be invited to a presentation night held during the RAAF History Conference in Canberra in August.
