THE question of who are the best male and female swimmers in the Australian Defence Force will be answered later this month when the Australian Services Triathlon Association (ASTA) and Frontline Defence Services conduct the ASTA National Swimming Championships.

The championships, to be held at Holsworthy Barracks on February 26, will feature 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle events.

Heats will be conducted in the morning, with the nine fastest competitors in each event progressing to the finals in the afternoon.
