Ive
heard Coupling referred to by some people as the British
version of Friends.
After
watching the first few episodes, Id say thats
an insult to this witty and clever series.
Compared
to the award-winning Coupling, Friends is shallow, predictable
and boring.
Revolving
around a group of six thirty-something London friends, Coupling
takes a refreshingly blunt look at love in the new millennium.
It
follows Steve, Susan, Jane, Jeff, Patrick and Sally as they
navigate their way through the relationship minefield
and theres plenty of hilarity along the way.
With
the creators of Men Behaving Badly and The Vicar of Dibley
behind the series, its little wonder Coupling has quickly
gained a loyal following.
I
dare anyone who has had a relationship of any kind to watch
this sit-com without relating to at least one of the situations
the cast members find themselves in.
With
friends like these, who needs Friends?
