No. 75 Squadron print

limited edition print of an F/A-18 Hornet and a P40 Kittyhawk
flying over No. 75 Squadron’s current home of RAAF Base Tindal
(shown right) has been produced to commemorate the squadron’s
60th anniversary and in memory of all those who have served in
its ranks. Artist Barry Spicer did the painting, entitled Moresby
to Tindal. Each print is individually signed and numbered.The

Air Command Band
The Big Band will perform at the Australia Day Ball in Maitland,
NSW, on January 25, and the Concert Band will perform at the Australia
Day public concert in the Opera House forecourt on January 26.

Ex-Apprentices reunion
The 30th annual Melbourne reunion of Air Force Ex-Apprentices
will be held on January 25-26. The Saturday function is for all
ex-apprentices, members from other countries who trained with
them, and former instructors. It will be held at the Air Force
Association, 4 Cromwell Rd, South Yarra, at 1pm. The Sunday Family
Picnic will be held at Toolangi, in the grounds of the Arden tea-rooms,
Healesville-Kinglake Road, around lunch time. For further information

Amberley Playgroup
The Amberley Playgroup is seeking a secretary, craft coordinator,
craft assistant and two day coordinators. The playgroup will be
open every Tuesday between 9.15-11.15am from February 4, 2003.
For the rest of this year it will still continue on a Wednesday.
The cost is $2 a family a week, with one annual insurance fee

Northsail nominations
Nominations are open for suitably qualified Defence members to
be a skipper or mate on one or more legs of the ADF Sailing Association’s
Northsail 2003 from Sydney to Townsville and back. The event will
feature 10 legs between April 27-June 10.
