Warrant

while Corporal Graham Madderen seeks dough from
onlookers.

IF youre
after pizza in a hurry forget the rest and call Big Bad Bob
Warrant Officer Rob Eley, Warrant Officer Disciplinary at
RAAF Base Edinburgh.
WOFF Eley recently volunteered his culinary skills for a pizza-making
competition in Adelaides Rundle Mall against local personalities.
While he prepared his masterpizza, Corporal Graham Madderen,
of Security Police from RAAF Base Edinburgh, collected donations
for Adelaide Central Missions Toys and Cans Christmas Appeal.
As food and dough flew through the air, six competitors took on
the challenge of preparing pizza in a festive theme from a variety
of supplied ingredients.
After an initial struggle with the can opener amid strains of thats
amore belting out in the background, WOFF Eley brought all
his ingredients together to form a Christmas tree.
WOFF Eley describes himself as a frustrated chef and saw this as
the perfect opportunity to show off his expertise as well as contribute
to a worthy cause.
There are a lot of people out there who have far less than
the rest of us and Im glad we were able to help, WOFF
Eley said.
Although I didnt win the competition, my pizza was definitely
the best and most festive.
All donations collected on the day will go toward providing much-needed
toys and food hampers for underprivileged families.
WOFF Eley decided it was in his best interests not to eat his creation.
